Here are a few pictures from one of our tour-bus guided journeys around the city. Lucky for you these pictures ar small, because I was not able to avoid blurry bus photography. The large white building is the national Gallery, home of Jan Van Eyck's Arnolfini Wedding Portrait as well as Botticell's Venus and Mars.

The nicest dorm room I've ever been in
Okay, I don't mean to discredit the wonderful hotel we stayed in. I am just poking fun at all European hotels in general. Maybe you have had a different experience, maybe you stayed in a suite that took up the whole floor. But chances are, you probably didn't. And if you were in Europe, why would you be spending that much time in your room anyway. I didn't take a picture of the bathroom but it was very lovely. The tub, according to mom was so slippery that it was lethal. I think the water made my skin very dry. The first day we took a stroll around Knightsbridge, where our hotel was located. Then we couldn't go back to sleep so we stayed up watching the election (hooray for the wonderful British News!)
